FARM WORLD 2015
Thursday March 26 - Sunday March 29, 2015

2015 will see Farm World's 53rd event and continue as one of the largest field day events in Australia, building on the success of the event this year. It attracts visitors from throughout Victoria, southeast of South Australia and Tasmania. It has grown to be Victoria's largest regional agricultural event, attracting more the 650 exhibitors and 50,000 people through the gates over the 4 days.

Farm World allows exhibitors to launch new products, generate sales and leads, highlight industry changes and provide an opportunity to develop and maintain contacts.

Details of the 2015 event:

The theme for 2015 - “Farm Productivity”

‘Farm Productivity’ links in with the recently released “Gippsland Food Plan” which was produced to build on Gippsland’s agricultural strengths and to take advantage of the growing export opportunities for agricultural products. Currently agribusiness accounts for a significant $6 billion of Gippsland’s $13 billion gross regional production.

The ‘Farm Productivity’ theme focusses on initiatives farmers can take to improve their own farm productivity. Exhibitors who have products or services relating to the theme can expand their promotional opportunities at Farm World 2015. The theme will be extensively promoted in the Farm World pre-event features and the Farm World program.

Health and Wellbeing

From the success of the Farm World 2014 theme ‘Health & Wellbeing’, we have created a permanent area in the Exhibition Centre which will focus on particular activities which relate to health and wellbeing. Last year over 1000 people participated in the free men’s health checks, diabetes, cardiovascular and hearing tests. We would like to attract exhibitors involved in identifying and improving health issues, as well as lifestyle related areas such as wealth creation,
off-farm investments and leisure activities.

Women in Agriculture Event 2015

Following the ongoing success of Ladies Day – Women in Agriculture, the first day of Farm World
(Thursday 26 March) will again recognise and celebrate the important role women play in agriculture.

A special Women in Agriculture luncheon will be held from 12.00 pm to 2.00 pm in the Lardner Park Exhibition Centre. The program includes lunch prepared by Wild Dog Food Services followed by an interesting program of speakers with their own unique stories.
