FARM WORLD 2013
March 21st - 24th

In it’s 51st year, Farm World is one of the largest field day events in Australia. It attracts visitors from throughout Victoria, southeast of South Australia and Tasmania. It has grown to be Victoria's largest regional agricultural event, attracting more the 650 exhibitors and 50,000 people through the gates over the 4 days.

Farm World allows exhibitors to launch new products, generate sales and leads, highlight industry changes and provide an opportunity to develop and maintain contacts.

The theme for 2013 - “Agricultural Sustainability”
The 2013 Farm World theme “Agricultural Sustainability” focuses on how farmers can use resources more efficiently and responsibly - with the aim of improving farm profitability and achieving positive environmental outcomes.

Ladies Day - Women in Agriculture
Following the success of the inaugural 'Ladies Day - Women in Agriculture' last year, the first day of Farm World (Thursday 21st March) will again recognise and celebrate the important role women play in agriculture.



A special "Women In Agriculture' luncheon will be held from 12pm to 1.30pm in the Lardner Park Exhibition Centre. The program includes lunch followed by Guest speakers -
Sue Pieters-Hawke - Sue is the daughter of Bob and Hazel Hawke, a professional speaker, writer, advisor/consultant and media commentator, and Ambassador for Alzheimer’s Australia
Deb Bain - Deb is the 2007 Australian Rural Woman of the Year, a wool and lamb producer, and founder of the national Farm Day initiative promoting farming families.

Panel discussion with ; Shirley harlock - Wollaston Farms, Tania Luckin -Mt Clay Farms, Rhonda Henry- Commonwealth Bank, Nicola Watson- Commonwealth Bank.
